Corrugated Plastic

10mm Coroplast

  • The “Tank” of the Sign World. When a standard yard sign just won’t cut it, you step up to 10mm. At nearly half an inch thick, this isn’t just a sign—it’s a structural solution. If you’re tired of signs that bow in the wind or look “flimsy” on a high-end job site, this is the heavy-duty upgrade you need.

    Why 10mm?

    • Zero Flex: Unlike standard 4mm boards, 10mm Coroplast stays flat and rigid, even in large formats like 4’x4′ or 4’x8′.

    • Professional Presence: It has a “heft” to it that commands attention. It feels solid in your hands and looks premium to your clients.

    • Built for the Elements: This is our go-to recommendation for semi-permanent outdoor signage, construction site boards, and high-wind environments.

    • Vibrant UV Printing: We print directly onto the board with UV-stabilized inks for a crisp, professional finish.

    ⚠️ Pro-Tip: Protecting Your Investment

While our UV inks are tough, the sun is tougher. For any sign staying outdoors for more than 3 months, we strictly recommend Lamination.

    • Why? Lamination acts as a “sunscreen” for your graphics, preventing fading and protecting the surface from scratches and road grime. If it’s staying outside for a season or longer, lamination is the only way to keep it looking brand new.

    Best Used For:

    • Real Estate Development: Large “Coming Soon” or “For Lease” site signs.

    • Construction & Wayfinding: Rugged enough to be screwed into plywood or mounted to posts.

    • A-Frames & Inserts: Perfect for heavy-duty sidewalk displays that stay upright.

    • Custom Cutouts: Its thickness makes it ideal for life-size standees or custom-shaped rigid displays.

Which Coroplast is right for you?
Most people are used to the standard 4mm yard signs you see on every street corner. 10mm is a different beast. At nearly half an inch thick, it is designed for projects where “flimsy” isn’t an option. If you are mounting a sign to a wall, placing it in a high-wind construction zone, or need a large-format board that won’t bow in the middle, 10mm is the professional choice.

The “3-Month Rule” for Outdoors
We print with high-quality UV inks, but the Iowa sun (or anywhere else!) is relentless. To keep your branding looking sharp, we recommend a simple rule of thumb:

Temporary Use (Under 3 Months): Standard UV print is perfect.

Semi-Permanent (3+ Months): We strictly recommend adding Lamination. It acts as a protective shield against fading and helps your sign maintain its “just-printed” look for the long haul.

Mounting & Handling
Because of its rigid core, 10mm Coroplast is incredibly versatile. It can be easily grommeted, screwed directly into wooden posts, or used as a heavy-duty insert for A-frame signs. Despite its strength, it remains surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to transport to job sites or events.
